Every person arrives with a different history, need, and level of readiness, so our work begins with understanding your unique story. I tailor each session to support your emotional safety, clarity, and growth in a way that feels grounded and respectful of your pace.
In psychotherapy, we explore the sources of your emotional or physical pain—whether rooted in past experiences, trauma, or ongoing patterns. As we talk, deeper layers naturally emerge, helping us understand not just what you’re struggling with, but why.
Jungian analytic work helps us access the unconscious through dreams, symbols, and emotional reactions. By listening closely to this inner language, we uncover where development may be blocked and what your psyche is trying to communicate about your path forward.
My approach weaves Jungian theory together with the ideas of Klein, Winnicott, and Bion to create a comprehensive depth-oriented process. This integration allows for a nuanced exploration of both conscious and unconscious life, offering a fuller understanding of your emotional world.

I approach every person who comes to my office with compassion, respect, and a genuine interest in their story. Many people seek therapy because they feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or stuck—sometimes without fully knowing why. My work is to help you uncover what’s beneath that struggle and support you as you move toward a more authentic and grounded life.
I am a Jungian psychoanalyst and psychotherapist with over 40 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. I trained for nine years at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where I later served as President, Director of Training, and Co-Director of the Hilde Kirsch Children’s Center. I have published and taught widely, both in the U.S. and internationally, and I received the Distinguished Educator Award from the International Federation for Psychoanalytic Education.
My approach integrates Jungian theory with the ideas of Klein, Winnicott, and Bion. I believe therapy is a meaningful, transformative conversation—one that helps you understand the deeper layers of your psyche and engage with the rich, symbolic language of the unconscious.
